SCASA’s 28 roundtable groups each meet multiple times throughout the year and serve as collaborative forums where school leaders can share insights, discuss emerging issues, receive updates from relevant organizations, and exchange best practices with their counterparts from other South Carolina school districts. SCASA’s Seminar Series offers in-depth discussions on topics relevant to all school leaders and provides resources to promote innovative and effective leadership practices. The Center for Executive Education Leadership (CEEL) provides comprehensive, research-informed programming for education leader development and support. The content challenges cohorts of participants to learn from each other as they identify and master skills needed to engage faculty and staff and impact student achievement. Participants are provided an opportunity for development relevant to growth in their current position and in preparation for higher levels of responsibility.

The SCASA Innovative Ideas Institute, now in its 45th year, is the premier leadership development conference for approximately 1,700 public school leaders in South Carolina and other southeastern states annually.  Three days of keynotes and educational sessions are targeted to various school and position levels.  Attendees range from assistant principals to superintendents and include all functions at the district level.

The Orange County Department of Education and the Butte County Office of Education are hosting the 8th Annual California MTSS Professional Learning Institute (PLI) on July 22-24, 2025, at the Anaheim Convention Center.

This dynamic event brings together classroom educators, administrators, school counselors, school psychologists, school-based mental health clinicians, district leaders, county offices of education leaders, higher education faculty, and community-based organizations committed to advancing academic excellence through inclusive, research-based practices.

The California MTSS 2025 PLI theme “Unite, Empower, Impact" will focus on promoting excellence, equity, and access for all learners through the California MTSS Framework.

In this webinar, presenters from Cignition and Digital Promise shared insights on getting all students to talk and think more about the math you are teaching in your classroom. The presenters shared successful collaborative learning ideas that they have used in a virtual learning environment and allowed you to share what is working in your classroom.
